Becket & Co. offers full service, premier yacht management services to yacht owners from Maine to Florida. We specialize in yachts built by Hinckley®, Hunt®, Grand Banks®, Little Harbor®, Viking® and Princess®.
James B. Strohacker founded Becket & Co. in 2007, creating an organization of certified professional yacht managers dedicated to representing yacht owners as a true advocate and partner.
In 2004, Strohacker joined The Hinckley Company® as manager of the demonstrator fleet. He went on to be senior trainer in Hinckley’s new owner orientation program as well as sales event yacht manager. Strohacker educated and trained hundreds of new Hinckley jet boat owners, teaching them how to operate and maintain their boats. Strohacker also spent thousands of hours running boats, providing vital feedback on new products, coordinating service, engineering, and production departments to meet customer needs and expectations. These experiences, coupled with an MBA from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, provide the foundation upon which Becket and Co. is built.
